Shopping in Poznan

For those who like to revel in a spot of retail therapy, then Poznan really does have it all. For a memorable shopping trip there really is no better place to start than at the modern and impressive award winning 'Stary Browar' (Old Brewery), with its spacious and breathtaking architecture. Once you have indulged there you can continue your retail experience along Polwiejska Street. This is a popular thoroughfare of shops, restaurants and cafes, which concludes with another modern shopping centre called the 'KupiecPoznanski'. From here it is only a couple of minutes walk to the magnificent 'Stary Rynek' (Old Market Square).
Here you can step back in time as you wander through quaint little streets lined with gorgeous coffee and teahouses, restaurants to suit all tastes, fine antique shops, souvenir shops and an array of pubs and clubs.

Check out the 'Sak & But' shoe shop in Zydowska Street, which offers both this and last seasons designer shoes by the likes of Prada or Gucci at very affordable prices. If you're still not done then you can walk the short distance from the Old Square along Paderewskiego Street where you will find exclusive shops like Max Mara and D & G.
